Over 25 years ago I began my career in health care at a local county hospital. I soon realized that it was not only patients that had barriers to receiving the care they needed, the health care providers also faced many obstacles in providing the care they were trained to provide. As regulations increased so did the administrative burdens and the cost to provide quality care. I spent my career identifying bottlenecks, creating efficient workflows by optimizing software and staff processes, which allowed clinical staff to function at the highest level of their license. Having first hand experience working for largest MACs in the country at that time (PGBA) and TRICARE, I have been able to take my experiences and apply to the provider side.
As an experienced senior managing consultant, I worked with several of the largest post acute care providers and health systems in the United States, assisting them with various projects. In December of 2018, I felt that it was time to utilize my experience in Post-Acute Leadership to help providers meet their strategic goals so I launched Stone Consulting. I recognized that there are thousands of Post-Acute care providers, some new and some not so new, which need experienced independent experts. Through many years of working with exceptional people I created a team of experienced experts to help guide our clients to successful outcomes through education, collaboration, and responsiveness.
Each client's needs are different, which means we customize our projects to meet those needs.
We build relationships one client and project at a time, and we are selective in working with prospective clients. We provide honest feedback through open discussion and respect our client's rights to privacy. Our relationships depend upon trust.
